Hi Guy's

Never done this before, :ooh:
Got a existing reef but it needs a rescape.
How would you go about doing this?

I was thinking of pulling all my coral out in to a holding tank.
would the fish be ok or should they come out as well?

Thanks
Isaac

Keep all live stocks in a holding tank is best. U don't want to scare the fish while doing...that how I did mine...good luck.

Also if u plan to keep the old sand bed, do a 15-20% water change afterwards, cause u disturbing the bio filter system. ..

That's my 2cent.

I just re-aquascaped my tank. I di it half at a time, and left everything in it. The fish moved to the opposite side I was working on. Put the live rock in a holding bin with salt water while re-scaping. Move slowly and be careful for your sand dwellers and slow movers,an you'll be fine.

Thanks Guy's

Decided to go for a total tare down and rebuild just makes it a bit easyer,:juggle:

Photo's to come

Ok after 5 hour all complete.

Ended up pullin every one out in to tub's.

I think the end result is worth all that trouble.

Great job! Much more vertical space....and leaves more sand bed to add more things there too...

Thanks Guy's
might be a few slight changes but yeah makes the tank look a lot bigger

I still think I will have to choose my corals more wisly now as to get the spacs right.
But defintly sume more fish.

Yeah, that's the only bad part about a smaller tank, lol and the main reason people keep upgrading, lol

Nice job! I just went from this:
