Rearranging Glass Baffles In Sump

I’m trying to figure out if there is a way for me to rearrange my glass baffles in my DIY sump without draining and taking it offline. I built it with (left to right):

drain chamber, filter sock overflow, bubble trap, skimmer, fuge, bubble trap, return pumps.

I want to convert it to a “triton” sump by moving fuge before skimmer where drain is, and making it bigger by getting rid of the separate drain/filter sock section. Only “hard” part: can I re-silicone the baffle for the new (smaller) skimmer chamber while wet/under water?

Maybe another way of asking, Will aquarium silicone cure under water, or is there a reef safe product that will?

NO! Silicone needs time to cure....I'll pick a time out of the air....three days.....but I'd prefer longer. There are posts of folks who have crashed a tank by not allowing the silicone to cure.

If it's a common tank size, wait for the dollar-a-gallon sale and pick up another tank.

Well, there’s my answer!!

It’s a 75G and a PITA to drain and move, I think I’m going to experiment with a movable plastic baffle and suction cups. It really only needs to be a screen for the macro.
