Hello,

I'm relatively new to the aquarium world and was looking for suggestions on some lighting for a 40 gallon tall hexagon tank that I am currently setting up. It will be a fish only tank with an eel and puffer fish in it.

Thanks for your input,
Richie

If you're doing fish only pretty much any light will work. Inexpensive LED fixtures can be found on amazon and Ebay. Otherwise there is the Current USA Orbit Marine standard which if you wanted to do soft corals down the road would be able to handle them. Plus its programmable and can do dusk and dawn effects as well as weather. #WelcometoR2R

Richie,
Welcome to Reef 2 Reef

Can you post your (Hex) tanks dimensions, so that other Reef 2 Reef members can help you out?

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome! The tank dimensions are 20 in wide x 25 in deep

One AI Prime HD would be sweet for that setup.
