Rebirth

High light/flow....
It came brownish, a month ago, and I can see a very good change untill now....

Color for mine is similar to yours, but growth is slow.
As long as it is happy, no need to move it.

Last week, after months hiding in the middle of the corals, my last Chromis was taking refuge in the glass at the back of the tank.
I've seen this behavior before, and I know it's a death row.
After 2 or 3 days there, it disappeared.
This ends my adventure through the world of shoals in marine aquariums.
At least, for now.

I'm sorry to hear about the chromis. I have a group of 8 for about 2 years now. They are one of my favorite parts of my tank when they "shoal" together in the end with highest flow. Did you have a dominant fish? My dominant is easily twice the size of the others. I think this is important to keep the peace in the group.

I have them in a variety of ways......
In this last group I have 2 very big adults, a couple of medium size fishes and a dozen of small ones...Also didn't work ....

Sorry to hear that. Maybe in the future it will work out for you with a group of some kind. Beautiful tank as always!

Thanks.....

I've tried squamipinis anthias also with no long term sucess.
I'm thinking about yellow tail dansels in the future....let's see.

There goes 2 years...................
