I never saw any of my systems as a sps systems or even a sps dominat systems.
Of course that I've got a lot of sticks but one of my goals with this system was to acomplish a diversity of animals that I have got with the last ones. Maybe more.
I've always found this invert interesting and now the opotunity of get one, big and healthy, shows up.
I'm just a little worried about the longevity that it'll have so if you have some experience, please share.

No new fish
No new coral

But some new photos.

Slowly the sps are regaining color and are starting to grow again.
The greens, the color that suffered the most, are turning a little better too.

Until the end of 2017 I was doing monthly FTSs but from now on, I'll be doing it bimonthly just to register the evolution of the tank.

I think the tank needs no less than 2 months to start to look like it was before the problems with nutrients/Ra.

I'm now keeping a very little portion of chaeto, of the size of a tenis ball.
And I'll harvest it more frequently to let the nutrients level of the tank rises again.
To help with it I'm feeding the fishes with fresh food again, heavilly, and I'm dosing a lot of stuff, with a positive response (Koralcolor, Aquavittro Fuel, Borochrom, Ferrion, Lugol's ,Potassion)

I assume you are talking about the tuxedo urchin?

I have 3 pincusion urchins that I really like besides the fact that they sometimes will bring snails as hitchikers with them, besides that they are great.

That's right Cody....it's the blue tuxedo.
How long do you have yours?

So............................

My pumps arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have 2 Gyres XF150 in the back panel (continuous mode 80%) and 2 Icecap 3K in the front glass (Random mode 10~70%).
Both vertical mounted with propeller cages out of fase with each other.
Great pumps.....a lot of water being pusshed through the reef.
For now I'll keep my Vortech MP40 running. Jst push it to the middle of the right panel glass and put it in Reef Crest mode.
Getting a very difuse, strong and alternate flow.
I'm very happy with it.

Plus, I learned how to use Vegas PRO and now I can make the corals have their real colour in the vídeos.
Later I'll upload some.

Not quite yet, but they're coming. It'll need one more month.
I use Vegas Pro 15. It have controls of contrast, gama, saturation, etc that allows to get closer to the real looks of the tank.

I have 3 tuxedo urchins in my tank, 1 of which has been in there for over 2 years, the other two probably a year and 18 months. They have been very hearty and great algae mowers. They will however keep you from growing (and strip existing) coraline algae in my experience, so if that's important to you...

Great looking tank as always.

These urchins eat coraline algae?
