Rebuilding my plumbing

So I am rebuilding my plumbing. I am going with dual return pumps for redundancy. I also want to include a manifold this time around. How would i plumb this to the dual pump returns? Should only 1 pump run the manifold or should both pumps get plumbed to either side of the manifold?
What would be the best method of plumbing in this manifold between the two returns?

I just plumb one pump into the manifold. If I lose that pump I can switch the pumps and have it working within hours max if I really need the manifold running.
