I have a 90 gallon aquarium. I recently moved and have the tank empty and cleaned. The tank is about 4 years old with no leaks. So here is the question, should I cut out the silicone and recaulk while I have it broken down? Does anyone have a good thread or instructions for a non-leaking tank? Everything I find is for a leaking tank.

Why do you want to recaulk it? Silicone in bad shape?

the silicone should be good. Simply fill tank with freshwater and let it sit for 48 hrs and inspect for leak. If none, wipe down the glass with the water in it with magic eraser sponge and empty out and have fun setting the tank back up

The silicone has some chunks missing from normal maintenance while it was setup. I had it running for 3ish years before I moved and used a mag float to clean the glass, hit the caulk a few times. I currently have the livestock in a Rubbermaid stock tank so wasn't sure if resealing was worth the time or not
