Received a RBTA through the mail...not looking so good. Help?

I received a rainbow bubble tip anemone through the mail. I was expecting the package to arrive on Thursday or Friday but it arrived on Saturday. I drip acclimated it for awhile then poured off excess water and placed it in a hang-on acrylic that sits in the tank so that it can receive light. It has started to color up and look a little better. Any tips on what to do now? Wait it out? I know they like water flow but I'm leary to put it in my tank this way.

i'm no expert on anemones, but in the 2 years i've had mine, the one thing i've learned is that they like to be left alone. that anemone looks pretty bad, i don't see any tentacles or anything extending, if it was me, i'd just put it in the tank, somewhere in the vicinity of some decent rockwork it might be able to find a good spot and see what happens. Good luck to ya, and i'm sure you've thought of it, but hopefully the place you ordered from might be able to make an accomodation for you, if things go south....

Id put it in the tank and keep a very close watch on it. If its start disintegrating take out immediately.

Don't worry about it, seriously. Give it a couple days. I put one in my tank, looked like crap, and then it disappeared. Couple days later it was on other end of tank happy as could be. Suddenly, i had 15 of them. They're very hardy.

My head would explode if I received one like that. Hope it was free, unless you asked for regular mail. Bta are tough but only so far

It was shipped priority and should have been here on Thursday or Friday. Not sure what happened. It is a trade and she has apologized greatly and offered to replace it.
