Received purple tang with HLLE

The vendor claimed the fish leave the facility healthy. I only got the fish 2 days ago. It’s hard to tell the fish condition on day 1 because the fish is super stressed and turn pale and white. I thought it is just stress.

could stress from shipping cause HLLE ?

I don't buy that, they owe you compensation. I would not pay full price for a fish like that at a LFS why would you pay full price from them?!!!

The vendor ny***stop responding to my emails. I figure the fish might not survived the QT and they have live guarantee , so I was waiting to see how it play out.

I won’t buy from that vendor again, but it’s a happy ending i supposed. The fish not only survived but looks like thriving.

you made me double guess the results. Retested ammonia and it’s indeed 0, unless my test kit is off.
