More pics of the fish room please

Crystal Dynamics built the tank & stand. Here's a picture of the equipment. It's plumbed through the wall where the tank sits & goes into my office. It's great for easy access to everything.

Wow what amazing colors.. what bulbs are you using on your t5's? im ordering the same light fixture from giesmann. I'll be using the phoenix 14k HQI bulbs as I've always had great luck with them.. Do you dose anything? how about nutrient removal? biopellets or zeovit zeolith stones?
thanks..

Thank you [emoji4]. I'm using the Phoenix 14k & ATI T5's. I'm somewhat old school & don't dose much or at all. Other than using a calcium reactor I dose trace elements by way of using Reef Solution" that's pretty much it. I do monthly water changes of 15%.

Followed from your YouTube channel. Your tank is stunning.

What do you feed the fish and corals daily?

Do you dose any supplements for the corals?

Thanks.

PS you should link the tank video here so everyone can see how beautiful your tank is.

Thanks so much for that. And a great Idea too, I will do that for sure. I feed my fish once per day, perhaps twice on my days off :) Corals not so much. Aside from a calcium reactor, I only dose Reef Solution approx. 60mls 2-3 times per week. I also feed reef roids, maybe couple times per month.

Truly awesome. How did you manage to transfer all those corals to the new tank? From earlier pictures it looked like you added and arranged rock without coral attached.

I'm interested because I'm thinking about replacing my existing 225 with one that is better designed.

Mickey

Thanks Mickey. The transfer & set up of the new tank took an entire week. All live stock was transferred into a temporary holding tank, 125g. That tank housed all fish & coral. Biological filtration was provided by the live rock from the established tank. No skimmer or any other filtration was provided during that week. Once the new system was set up & running for 24 hours i transferred everything over. 90% of the corals were small colonies or frags when it was started approx 13 months ago. Existing LR from prior reef was transferred. Additional live rock was added but was cooking for 1 month prior.

I had zero losses but had small challenges the first 6 months like browned out corals & cyano. But I guess that's to be expected.

Thanks for your question.
