Hello everyone,
I have a 29 gallon reef setup with a LED light, canister filter, and protein skimmer on it. My salt levels are kept at 1.026-1.023 my temp in my tank stays around 80-85 degrees. Now I have had this coral since I started my setup a year ago and it's been doing great under this same LED light up until a few days ago. I noticed he is now losing his pink color and turning all white. I can't figure out why. I haven't moved him in over a year from the same spot I placed him to begin with. Anyone know what's going on with him. Also on a side note my rock anemone has vanished as well after doing great in my setup for a long time

So you've had the coral for over a year and there's no new growth? That's kind of odd. Have you been fiddling with the intensity/color of your LED's lately? I would definitely find it some shade for a week or so and see how it responds. In most cases bleaching like this is an indication of too much light. GL.

Yes I have had the coral for a year now and it has had baby's but there always hiding under it. I pushed it a little more under the rock it's in front of so I'm hoping that will do the trick. I haven't messed with the light at all.

For some reason I can't seem to get the temp to stay consistent in my setup. I have been battling that for a while now as for the salinity I try to keep it as consistent as I can.
