what are the best parameters, lighting and placement for Zoas

I was wondering what are the best parameters, lighting and placement for Zoas in a 39 gallon tall tank?

This is tough to answer, as pretty much each zoa/paly has its own "best placement" in a tank. As for lighting, if you plan on only doing zoas/palys you can get away with nearly anything... Power Compact, T5s, LED, Metal Halides, etc. However, if you plan on getting different coral later on (some LPS or even SPS) then you may want to start off with the best lighting you can. Everyone has their own opinions, I am a big fan of either T5s or LEDs.

Personally, I would avoid the PCs in that tall of a tank. I'm a fan of t5s or MH (have used both), but have never tired LEDs. Individual polyps will have to find their own sweet spot based not only on lighting, but also on flow rates/types.
