recommend a skimmer for 300G tank

Please provide your recommendation - i am trying to get something for a tank that is going to be 300G. I expect medium to heavy bio load -

I was looking at the RO 220 Elite - but its 600 on BF sale.
its also rated a little bigger tank.

Anything i can get thats a bit cheaper but with excellent reviews?

Aqua C EV-400 and Bubble Magus Curve 9 Elite skimmers are a nice option! It is best to buy a skimmer that is rated higher than your tanks gallon size, especially when you factor in bioload.

I thought bubble magnus were not good for long term life

Never experienced an issue with them at the pet shop I worked at or in my tank. I would think that pump and skimmer routine maintenance and cleaning will extend the life of any skimmer. Not doing it will decrease the life of a skimmer and pump.
