Recommend affordable lighting.

There are lots of new lights out there, and name brand means nothing. For all those who say don’t skimp on lights is kinda funny. If you visit any public aquarium none of them use these named branded lights, they use whatever they can find cheap because they are based on donations mainly. Most public aquariums have tanks that look fantastic (not talking about the ones that are 1000 plus gallons etc, on those it’s mostly natural sunlight or metal halides.
I like this! I’d like to add I’ve seen some lfs with hodgepodge systems leds/t5s/mh all sorts of brands and fixtures thrown together and making livings. I’d suggest looking for used if you don’t mind, and exercising due diligence when buying.

I'd say look at the warranty on any Mfgr bc even though the LED diodes can last 10 years many "cheap" Mfgrs use crappy power supplies and the power supply will burn up in 24mos bc of the wet salty environment
