Recommend me a light

HI all,

I currently have a 4 foot wide tank ( Red Sea Reefer 350) with 2x Kessil 360WE. It is a mix tank and I want to get more SPS but not sure if my light will produce enough par. My budget is 1k so I want to maximize my dollar and so far I am thinking of doing the following

- Get a 1x Radion G5 Pro and put it in the middle of the 2 Kessil I already have
- Get 2x more Kessil 360 WE

Which would be my best option or should I get something else like Aqua Illumination Hydra 64 to go with the 2 Kessil?

Sell the Kessils and get three xr15 G5’s or 2 xr30 g4 pros.

Radion G5 lights are getting so many problems now. I recommend you to get G4s or wait until Ecotech fixes the problem. AI Hydras do look nice, but I do not know much about them. Maybe, someone will chime in and give more info.

Search radions g5 on R2R and you will see. A few problems like being cracked, no proper packaging, screws becoming loose, wires frayed etc. (seems unacceptable for a $900 light imo)

Tbh 8-900$ is price gouging for even a great light

You could say that lol. I read many posts who have been loyal to radion/Ecotech for many years, but they were disappointed when they got G5 lights.

I have the G5’s blue. I was lucky enough to not have lens cracking or broken housing. They also seemed to have fixed the app connectivity after a recent update.
Awesome light! You will not be disappointed.
Only issue is my couch is next to my tank and they are bright! 100 LEDs will do that.

If you aren’t dead set on an LED light, you could go with something like an ATI hybrid setup, that way you could keep your current lights and just add the T5 to them. I hear SPS love T5. That is my current plan for when I start getting into some SPS in my tank.
