recommendation for ecotech vortech pump

I've got a 60" wide tank that gets a lot of snail poop accumulated along the front bottom edge of the tank. I'd like to place either 1 or 2 pumps at the bottom front corner(s) of the tank to stir up all the poop and hopefully it goes down the overflow. Am i better off with 1 pump on each side of the tank or just getting 1 big pump on one side? If 2 pumps which pumps and if 1 pump which pump should I get?

I agree with this, but I’d push you towards the 2 mp40. You’d have a ton more options on placement to get the best flow patterns with 2 pumps.

so 2 mp10's wont be enough to cover a 60" wide tank?

I would go with the MP40s. The mp10s are good, but not good enough to go across 60”. The other thing to think about is glass thickness, mp10s can only handle .375 inches max.
