I'm looking for some recommendations for lighting a tank with a 36x24 footprint that will house SPS and clams. It's only 18" tall, so that's not really an issue - I'm more concerned about the 24" front-to-back coverage, since the lights have to be canopy-mounted, and I won't be able to set them very high above the water surface. APEX-controllable is a big plus.

Haven't found any single pendant fixture that seems like it would work with that footprint, so I've been looking at maybe two smaller pendants. So far I've been looking at maybe two Radion XR15 Pros, or two Kessil A360W-E. Or maybe the new Kessil A700 if it ever comes out... What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
Larry

I have 2 Kessil 360 on my 65 gallon which is the same as yours, just 24 deep. I have mine about 8" to 9" off the water to get the spread rights. I love them! You might also look into the Hydra 26's. I have heard the New Kessil will retail at $1000 so 2 360's are definitely a cheaper route.

Pretty happy with the hydra 26 coverage over my 24" deep 120. I do run 4 across the top though.
