Recommendations for a nano pump?

I have a 14g Biocube with an upgraded MJ900 return pump, sans hood (due to excessive heat issues and an LED upgrade), that I'm thinking of adding a small (around 250 gph max) return pump to, to increase the flow a bit. I'm looking for a pump that has an external motor, again to avoid heat issues, that won't blow my CaribSea sand all over creation. Does anyone have a recommendation for an adjustable flow pump that won't take up much room and that meets the external motor criteria?

You want another return or a powerhead? The only external motor powerheads that come to mind are the vortechs. If you want something cheaper check out the Jebao sw-2.
