Hi folks,

I am about to bring a SCA 125ish tank online here in a couple months. Looking for recommendations on a good return pump to go in my Trigger Triton 44 sump; I am using a Jebao right now on my current tank, which has run fine for almost 2 years. But I have had two Jebao powerheads die in less than a years time so I do not want to go that route again.

Thanks in advance!

I have Skimz Quiet Pro and it's worked great for ~9 months. Varios is always a good choice too.

I run 2 Eheim 1262. Ultra reliable, quiet, and substitute as heaters (pro or con). They are a bit bulky but I can fit 2 in my return chamber in my sump. I cannot trust one return pump let alone a DC return pump. DC has it's place IMO but if you need to be assured 100% of the time that it will restart, then DC is not the way to go.
