R2R. I live in a small room, with limited space as is. I have a 14 gallon nuvo in the builds. I am wanting to QT my coral but would not have the sufficient space to set one up without moving my furniture around.

I am thinking about perhaps not going w/ a new coral QT, rather looking at other methods to minimize the risk.

I plan to receive coral (from aquacultured/ trusted vendors) and remove plugs + dip. I will keep frags on a rack in the DT and observe daily and take necessary measurements to address issues.

Has anyone approached this method? Any recommendations and wisdom is much appreciated

Edit: I’m more worried about nuisance algae/ pest rather than fish parasites

At that point, there is no minimizing risk outside of dipping and tossing the frag plugs. Once it is in the tank, it's fair gam. A coral qt really doesn't need to be big, but I understand the space issue.
