Just looking for recommendations on faster growing branching Acros similar to the green slimer. I love the crazy growing pattern and color of the green slimer and would like to add other branching types to the upper portion of my reef that are similar.

Thoughts?

Montis, Birdsnest, Poci and Stylos all grow like weeds for me and are banned from the tank.

There is blue and purple slimers if you like those... A. Yongei. Most stags grow pretty well.

Some acros grow so fast that you can see new growth every day, but they can be harder to keep. Wet Thumbs Tierra Del Fuego is doing this for me right now.

Thanks. I guess I should have been more clear to exclude montis, birdsnests poci and stylos.

Blue slimer is on my radar so similar to that and I have kept and do keep harder to keep acros. And yes thinking stags.

What kind of lights do you have? If you are non-LED, then some of the tables like superman or just about any other grow really fast once they get going, but they really need MH or T5s. Efflo can be the same way.

Steve Tyree Ultimate Stag is really neat. So is Lime in the Sky. If you like these, do not accept imposters - the real deal are not expensive, so make sure that you get them from somebody that you trust.

ORA Miami Orchid is crazy fast in my tank.

Over the last two years there are two acros in my tank that have grown zero. Or almost zero.

One I believe to be Nicks purple passion

And green slimer

Unordinary I realize. Haven’t been able to pinpoint the issue.

Following though for more ideas

Oh, all of the dragons grow like wildfire for me. CITR Red Dragon (do not accept any imposters which usually are not as red) is a great one.

I am running a G4 pro with 4 T5's on a 93 cube. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah I have a red dragon but don't know if the same. Got it from local guys here. it does grow fairly fast but mine is still a little pink and ticked off from the upgrade a couple months ago.

Does it encrust? CITR will a bit. If you are not sure, then get some CITR... it is truly a better coral than the generoc aqua cultured one.

It has not. Ill look into it. Low lighter given the smooth skin?

Cliffs Acro grows super fast. Branches out like a bush.

Battle Corals Reef Ready Grape Juice has been an unbelievably fast grower in my tank. No other acro in my tank comes close to growing like this one. It's not quite half way down in 24" deep tank. Even before I switched to metal halide about 2 months ago it was going nuts. With the halides is growing even faster along with everything else in my tank.
