Recommendations for Nitrate eaters similar to....

......A Red grape tree? my nitrates are ALWAYS 20ppm. I'm in the midst of leveling out my Calcium, Alk, and Mag. Particulars are best found on this thread.
Having said that, I'm aware it would be prudent to wait out until those params are inline. Unless a nitrate eater, like, and similar to the Red Grape tree, would be fine with the present readings?

You stocked your tank too early. I'd leave it alone and keep up with water changes. In this hobby chasing one fix after another to "quickly" solve a problem never ends well. Reading your other thread it just sounds like you're trying to do too much too fast.

Enjoy the ride, don't worry about the finish line. Your tank will mature and be able to handle the bio load. For now, water changes will help control nitrates and maintain levels. Based on the corals you listed I'm surprised you are dosing.

Sound advice to be sure. I stopped dosing last week, and have no intention of starting again until it's actually called for. Having been a mechanic all my life I still struggle with the fix it now, or you'll pay later tude. Being retired, this may help me learn that some things don't need fixing at that exact moment, and all i need do is nurture and let it fix itself. Thanks for the wisdom.

I hear ya! I'm an engineer so finding solutions to a "problem" is always at the top of my mind. Just have to remind myself to wait and watch. Biology runs on a slower clock than cars and electronics
