Recommendations on lighting

200g Deep Dimension build -

For lighting I am looking at -

2x 250w Radiums
Galaxy Ballast
Lumanmax elite reflectors
2x 48" VHO with 22k Super actinic bulbs

I'm getting closer to finishing the basement so I am trying to get some suggestions on a lot of stuff that I am going to need to pick up soon.

3"x4" with 2x400w on Lumenmax elites should be well enough. I'll probably still have to keep the lights 12" or high off the tank.
Those reflectors are insane on spreading light and high par transfer.

I have 3 LumenBright minis over my 170g and *love* them. They're very high off the water which keeps the tank cooler and allows me to easily maintain the tank. It's an inwall though.

I would go with 2 400 watt MH with Lumenar Reflectors and run T5 actenics all the whole length of the tank. That would be awesome

Its a done deal - I'm going with what is listed above. I'm just waiting on pricing now.

The 400w are too much for the tank depth I am going with. My buddies are getting 300 par in the sand with this setup.

I plan on running 48" VHO 22k Superactinics

i would use t-5's as supplement. why use the vho's if you don't have to?
how deep is this tank top to bottom?

Looks like a nice choice of lighting! I'm not familiar with the Lumanmax reflectors .. just my lovely Lumenarc III's.

I like the VHO's too ... guess some of us are just "old school"

VHO are not just "Old School" - they are way better actinics versus both T5 and PC.
