Lanthanum chloride is lc

Plumb off your return pump with a valve is probably best. The sicce 1.5 pump is quiet for me

Take a look at the Innovative Marine Mighty Jet DC pumps. They have a 326 gph and a 538 gph version. I’m currently using the 326 gph version with my BRS mini reactor and it is silent.

I've had good luck using Marineland Maxi Jet pumps, very reliable and these can also be used as power heads. But like @derekgoude said, I have mine plumbed to the return line via a valve.
