I get quite a kick out of feeding my acan and dunan colonies. What else has a strong and satisfying feeding response? And no, I am not going to buy a fish-eating elephant's ear.

Hey how’s it going? You can always get a scoly or high dollar acanthophyllia. They are the best to watch. They flip inside out but cost 500$! Scoly are half the cost.

Dendros :)

Rock flower nems! Not LPS but very nice feeding response, not too expensive, extremely colorful and very hardy. I also get a kick out of feeding my elegance, it has a strong feeding reponse. Same for my fox coral, though not quite as much. Scolys and acanthos are also great but pretty expensive. I did manage to snag a $61 dollar acantho from AquaSD today though!

Hm, I hadn't considered those, and I can get them fairly easily. I'd have to order a scoly from Ontario, and that $600 price tag for an acanthophyllia does make me a little queasy. :)

Elegance have a decent feeding response but they’re growth response is just as fast. Out of all the LPS in my tank my elegance is the only one that has grown to the point of "what have I done!" proportions.

That picture is with the flow on. With the flow off it covers the candy cane. It was the size of a quarter when I got it and now it’s about a foot and a half across.
