Recommended bacteria supplement these days?

What bacteria supplement do people like these days? I've been using Prodibio Biodigest, but frankly can't tell if it is helping or not. Admittedly, I haven't done any carbon dosing to help it along yet, but will likely start this weekend.

I have been using microbacter 7 for a while now and it seems to work well, I dose a little vibrant every 2 weeks to keep a healthy supply of angry bacteria in the tank
