My dosers are getting old and thinking of getting something new, not wanting to break the bank just dosers. I currently just dose cal and alk but may be dosing other things later on the big tank.

I have looked at both of those. I really like the price of the jebao. The reviews seem good on both too.

I use the BRS 1.1 mL per min doser to dose vinegar and also to feed a fish food many times per day.

I've had them for several years and I like them. I had to replace the tubing inside of each once.

I've been using the Bulk Reef Supply 1.1mL/min dosing pumps for almost a year now and LOVE them. At $75-$80 each, they are worth every dollar. I actually got mine from the Buy-Sell-Trade section of another reefing forum, but I don't think I would have gone any other way. And if you need more mL/min, for only $10 more you can get the 5.5mL/min pump.

For me, using the Apex Controller, these pumps were ideal due to their lack of independent controller. They are very quiet, especially if you take precautions to make them so. I mounted mine with a thin layer of foam between them and the mounting board.

If you have a controller such as the Apex or the ReefKeeper then the BRS 1.1ml pumps are the way to go. Otherwise, based simply on cost, the Jebao pump is a brilliant solution. For less than $150 for three heads how can you go wrong?

I have a RKL and I'm still looking at getting the Bubble Magus. It's not much more expensive and doesn't take up as many outlets as the BRS ones. I also believe that it will be easier to adjust.

Had bubble magnus T01. I was constantly changing heads. Dosing was always inaccurate. It once dosed half of my calcium container into my tank, and when I contacted customer service they offered no help. Not even a cheap replacement head. I will never buy one of their products again.
I am currently using GHL doser and couldn't be happier. Dosing has been on the money since day 1. Going on 8 months with it now.

i recently started using magic marine doser and its working flawlessly over the last month .. not sure if its a good or a bad one but i like it.

The jebao doser is an unbeatable value. Four stations for 120 bucks is very hard to beat. I have it and love it compared to my other dosers.

Using BRS 1.1ml with a digital timer. I don't have any complaints.

What fish food are you dosing with them? Chilled in a mini fridge or at room temp?

Brs with my apex love it

Wish I had known this a couple weeks ago when I ordered the BM t01, which is still in the box.

So....a few questions.

I have the apex, sounds like I should consider flipping the BM 01 and go with the BRS units? I'm pretty much out of outlets though so I'd have to buy another EB8 to control them it sounds like. Unless I just use individual timers. I'm looking to do Ca, ALK and Mg but would like to do some live food dosing in the near future.

I feed a mix of Arctipods and ROE from Reed.

I made a box by nesting two styrofoam fish boxes, and put the doser, a 100 mL container of liquid food, and the doser itself inside, along with two x 1 gallon jugs of frozen water. That keeps it all cool for several days. The cord enters through a hole in the side, and the food is dispensed out the bottom and directly into my sump for return to the main tank.

I really like it because the fish get fed ten times per day, and it keeps them actively looking for food all the time.
