Hey everyone!

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for vendors that do specialized fish orders, especially if you've have good experiences. I'm not looking for anything crazy—I have almost exclusively damselfish and plan to keep with the theme and am looking for a couple less common/available varieties. If possible, I'm interested in finding someone who specializes in doing 'custom' orders and can find these fish for me. I'd like to steer clear of some of the online vendors that occasionally have these fish after reading through some gnarly reviews.

TSM Aquatics used to all the time, but I'm sure if they're still doing that.

You could call and ask Matt if they still do custom fish hunts.

If they find what you want, they will not let it go until it's been qt'd.

@tsmaquatics is the way to go. I have received several orders from them of some higher end fish with no issues. You can call them and they will work with you in holding fish.

I just received my Crescent Tail Fairy wrasse from them on Friday.

Thank you! I reached out to both companies via email so far to see if a custom fish hunt is possible.

I really like that tsmaquatics quarantines before sending their fish out, that's a huge bonus!

I would also try to call TSM Aquatics. Their time schedule can be a little messed up, lol, but keep calling. They have a limited amount of people on staff, BUT, talking to them is far better than emailing them. Once you get a connection to them thru a phone call, the email option then becomes a plus.
