Would like to get some recommended copper products reefers are using successfully for treatment of parasites in a QT tank, other than Cupramine. I would also appreciate input on how they were administered, their success rate and any warnings in their use. We need to move pretty quickly, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the fish can handle copper by looking at the chart:

Thanks "dwest" for your quick reply. Heading now for the links you suggested.

Freshwater dip to remove some of the Ich parasites. This step helps the fish to breath a bit better.

Immediately following the FW dip, a bath in Ruby Reef Rally helps fight off bacterial infections as RRR has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities.

Then transfer the fish to a fresh QT with a Ammonia Alert badge, HOB filter with ceramic media that has either been soaking in a sump for a month or dose the media with BioSpira, Dr. Tim's, etc. and a powerhead that is aimed up to the surface rippling the water surface and a foam bubble filter that has the foam filter treated the same as the above ceramic media.

Begin ramping up the Copper Power. Small regular doses spread throughout the day are better than large doses. For bad cases of Ich you'll want to reach therapeutic level of 1.75 ppm within a 48 hours. Maintain the therapeutic level for 30 days. The display tank that the fish came from needs to be "fallow" for 76 days.
