HI all, I've been lurking for a while and figured I'd ask you guys to see what skimmer you recommend for my tank, which is proving to be a little difficult. I have an all-in-one 65 gallon hexagonal tank. The back glass, which obviously houses the overflow, is the largest pane at 36" long, so this is not a regular hexagon where all sides are of equal length. Since it's an all-in-one tank, my options in skimmers are limited. Since it's a large volume of water, I cant use a Remora or similar skimmer. Does anyone have any suggestions for a HOB skimmer that wont break the bank? :squigglemouth:

Aquamax hot's are nice. The SRO HOT series is about the only other i can thing of that would handle a 65g.

I'm leaning towards a Reef Octopus BH 2000, since I've heard good things about it. Problem is, I can't seem to find one used (good indication?). If anyone has one for sale, lmk. I'll also consider a BH 1000. Anyone with any reviews on these skimmers?

I have a bubble magus nac5 hob that I am going to be using on my 72 gallon, from what I was able to find on different forums people who have used them seem to like them and a decent price. Don't know if any members here have used this particular skimmer, and too early for me to comment on my own personal experience with it.
