Hey guys, I have a 48" spectrum LED Light running across my 55 gallon reef. What I want to do is run 2 ati coral plus bulbs one on each side of the LED! What is your recommended ballast for this setup?

Growth as my LED light now does not cover all of the required spectrums. That's why coral plus would work because it has the desired remaining wavelengths

Hana many would disagree can you provide me with a better reason to go with those?? Rather than with the advance ICN

You get the most output but with a little shorter lifespan.
You said growth thats why I said the 660
Now if it was just for color then the workhorse doesnt drive them as hard.

Oh I see now a lot of people said to stay away from the 660 due to it driving the bulbs too far and causing "catastrophic failure" as the company stated it.

Now that is interesting!!
Ya in an enclosed fixture the bulbs do run hot
With proper cooling I never had a failure just had to replace lamps every 6 to 8 months
