Hello All,

Just wondering what everyone’s go to target feeder for coral is? I currently use a not quite long enough classic bulb feeder but I would love to hear if there are any other cool options out there. I currently have a couple different zoas, frogspawn, a couple montipora cap corals, and an acan so nothing crazy to feed at the moment but of course I plan to add more coral as my tank matures further. The bulb syringe works ok but I’m just curious if there is anything out there that I am unaware of. I was considering “julian’s thing” but I saw a few bad reviews on its assembly and use.

Appreciate your input !

Julian sprung feeder popular. I use Kent version and it works very well

Im not sure of the make but if you go to marine depot(before end of month) they have a scallop feeder. Is adjustable, and works great/ I have 3 , one I drilled hole a bit bigger to feed mysis to seahorses the other for coral and a backup

If its what your looking for, I bought all of mine at Marine Depot but as they r merging Im not sure where to look. As I said earlier I feel bad I cant help u further but I am willing to give a fellow reefer a helping hand. Ive never shipped anything before but it weighs nothing. Id want to put it in a shipping tube for safety (its acrylic? or clear plastic) but couldnt b much to send. If you want Ill have my son( works by a shipping store) find out total cost to ship and Ill send it. I only ask after you recieve it to please reimburse me of shipping cost . Or as a thought came to me call Marine depot, ask for Scott and shoot him a picture I sent you. Hell b able to give better info as to that item. Just let me know .Good luck n happy reefing

I would get the long bulb feeder. Julian's thing is a total piece of junk. It does not retain any particulate food in the tip. Dribbles everywhere. Do not buy.

I really appreciate this and think it speaks volumes about this hobby as a whole. I actually read your first response so quickly I missed the kind gesture. I have since ordered a telescopic bulb syringe from Kent Marine. Again thanks for the offer!

I use 10" Artificial Insemination Rods, which secure on to any syringe tip. This style is superior to a long baster style due to the dilution of the foods when you feed one section to another, and the baster pulls tank water back in. With the syringe, you have full control of your feeding, and can move around the tank without perfectly squeezing the baster.

Just my .02
