So this photo is at night to show some behavior that I have a question about. This is what it sometimes does during the night. It looks like its stretching to try and get lower in the tank. All that's lighting the tank at night is 4 moonlight led's. Just a little extra light in this shot provided from the kitchen so we can actually see it. Considering the fact that this nem is stubborn and will not move from that hole to save it's life or put itself in more desirable conditions, does it look like it needs to move lower in the tank? Should I move the rock down to the substrate? During the day it shrivels up as if it's trying to get away from the light so I put a rock overhead to cast a bit of a shadow on it and now it does not shrivel up as much. But it does this at times during the night. Any suggestions?

I would try moving the rock down but it is hard to say without knowing the size of your tank and what kind of lights you have. You do not want to cut off to much light or the anemone will starve.

It is bleached, and starting to consume itself for energy.

What size tank?
What lights do you have?
What are your current water parameters? (( with numbers please ))
How long has the tank been set up?
How long have you had the anemone?

pH 8.2, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrates, 0 nitrites, calc 450 and that's all I have tests for. Oh and 1.025 on the salinity. Temp 78. The lighting is HO T5 2 ATI Blue Plus and 2 ATI Coral Plus. 75 gallon tank with a large sump. Tank has been set up since last October. Everything else including an RBTA is doing well. The nem was bleached when I got it. I just didn't know at the time. I have been feeding it 1/4" pieces of silversides every three days.
