So, life got a little busy and my 92 Corner reef suffered for it. Most of my SPS has died and several of my LPS are struggling. Now I’m trying to get things back in order and moving in the right direction.

One of the things I found out was my RODI system was comple exhausted and pushing out 53TDS water. I’ve replaced both membranes and all the filters (5 micron filter -> 1 micron filter -> 1 micron BRS carbon -> 1 micron BRS carbon -> 1 micron filter -> dual 75gpd RO -> mixed DI). While I waited for my BRS order, I sent off 2 ICP tests and was surprised to not see any major red flags.

The biggest issue is the smothering green “algae” growing that has smothered most of my SPS frags.

Anyway, any suggestions on changes to make besides doing more consistent testing and giving it time?

Since I sent in my ICP’s, I did do a 30% water change after replacing the RODI filters. This weekend I cleaned and refilled my bio pellets, GFO, and Carbon. Im also deep cleaning my skimmer (waiting on my Amazon Citric Acid delivery tomorrow).
