- What state or country do you live in
My power went out last Tuesday, with me going on holidays on Thursday, power came back on late Saturday afternoon.
Lucky for me I still live close to home, I moved all fish, coral, rock & bio media over to my mums along with my spare tank + heaters. The fish are all okay, corals are looking a bit dodgy, but I think I can salvage most.
Question is, tank has been stagnant without water movement for maybe 2 days? I had a battery air pump on it but I am not sure when the batteries died
Still in the tank, sand + about 100ltr of water (and a few green mushroom corals that refuse to die) probably a boatload of dead pods + bristle worms.
Do I need to do anything to get this back up?
Just a syphon of the sand + big water change then bring up to temp and add everything back? I've got some bacteria starter as well so I can add that to maybe bring back some life in the sand
