Red Algae ? Cyanos ? or Coralline Algae ?

[Micro Reef Tank]

Hi, I still consider myself new at this hobby.

A couple months ago I started to notice that the pink coralline on my rocks were becoming darker to a dark red to purple color

Now I start to see more then just color change, I see what looks to be Little hair but hard hair and if I scratch it, They don't separate from the rock easily or don't separate at all.

Could you help me identify this
Is it coralline Algae?
Or Cyanos ?
Or something else ?

I can't find online a picture that matches with what I see in my tank, so I didn't manage to identify it

Even my hermit starts to have darker pink color "coralline", I think, it in its shell

Look up red turf algae... looks like that to me. Genuine turbo snails and tuxedo urchins will normally eat it.

I have three turbo snails but I rarely see them there eating
And I can't have tuxedo Urchins, I think, due to my tank size

And I have searched now for Red turf Algae, online, and yes it looks like it

And I have three like this one, trochus I think, but some calls them turbo

Are these ones what you are talking about?

Nope... trochus are entirely different snail and unlikely to touch it, as you've found...

This is a mex turbo (Turbo fluctuosa)

Thats what I thought, it should be the Mexican Turbos. They can grow big, right?
Do they take some time to grow ?

My issue is my tank size 4,5 G

They do grow big but as long as they've got food they're not too fussed over space. They might knock over a few corals... they always sell so you could buy a couple, let them take out the algae and then move them on.

Were you able to get rid of the turf algae? I have it in my tank as well
