Red algae growing on rock.

Hey Reefers. New Reefer here. I have live rock with red algae growing on it. Is it any good for the aquarium or just leave it alone.

That is the good stuff you want growing (coraline algae)

Coralline algae aside, it looks like you have two or three types of macro algae on that rock too. I'm not sure what they are exactly, but I posted some guesses below.

It really is called "red algae", even if it's purple. Purple is my favorite color.
