This algae has taking over on all the rocks and choking out some of my corals. I just did two water changes in a month, with no improvement. Running a slimmer 24/7with filter sock change out every 2-3 days. This is 3 and half year old setup. I had to stop running my Refugium light because it was growing and taking over my cheato. I have no idea what kind of algae this is
 
It looks like Cyanobacteria to me, and as an easy solution try increasing the low rate to affected areas and see if that clears it up.

If it blows off easily it probably is but the pictures not that clear, or it could be my eyes! Lol
 
Here are some better photos, it doesn’t really blow off easily at all.
