Red algae on snail shells

Got a few snails from my LFS, but the algae on their shells seems to have grown quite a bit over the past month. I've searched red turf algae but most pics seem kinda blurry so I can't tell if this is it or not. It does seem a little different than turf.

Can somebody help me ID it and put my mind at ease, or make sure I get them out before it spreads. Thanks

I have always intentionally picked the red banded Trochus snails with the fuzzy red algae! I like the look better and in my experience, it has never spread from their shells.

I do see some red macroalgae in the background, maybe offspring of that or another macroalgae? Idk I wouldn't mind that in my tank

Looks like a Gracilaria species. Harmless IME.

Don’t know what it is, but my hippo tang makes a quick meal out of it every time.

I picked these out because I liked the macro on them but had since started to wonder if it's good or something that will become invasive like turf or red hair I've never seen either in person so I was starting to wonder.
I got a few Trochus with the red and these 2 with an unidentified green macro in this pic.

Red macro in the background is pom pom gracilaria, it's been happily growing like a weed in this simple molly only tank.
