Below are photos of some red algae taken through a new microscope I purchased. My usual tricks have been unsuccessful in addressing the issue, so I purchased a microscope in an effort to post a photo and better identify the problem.

Most of what you see in the pictures are grains of substrate. But I am posting the photos anyway, even though they may be inconclusive.

I definitely need a crash course on stereo microscope use. Then I will try posting photos.

Can anyone see anything in these photos that might help identify the problem that I call "red algae"?

I viewed a tutorial on how to use the stereo microscope and it's camera. I'k going to post better pictures tomorrow.

And yes, I will post a picture of he area in question.
 
This is a photo of the problem area in my display tank. Please excuse the streak marks on the glass.

Also, Phosphates =.25 (API) and Nitrates =7.5
