Red algae tufts on clove polyps...

Only my clove polyps have tufts of red algae on them...so they are not opening well...I had heard that a soak in peroxide solution may rid me of this...is this safe, true or what else may help...?...of all my corals in my 10 fusion, only this has a problem...:confused: It is high in the tank, gets a lot of light and a fair amount of flow...
 
Hey thanks for heads up it's fun to ward off a blossoming algae run

As peroxide biased as I am, for clavularia they may not like the dip I'd tweezer it out and q tip hit the spots so the greater mass isn't contacted by peroxide

Post pics of the challenge area if you can an curious what kind it is
