Ok, my wife purchased a red banded hawkfish for me as a present. I had told her I was going to buy a flame hawkfish for my tank and when she saw this one at the store, she jumped on it while I was at work. Problem is, i was shooting for a more peaceful/semi aggressive reef tank. Now she loves him because he looks at her through the glass. She is literally playing peek a boo with this fish and has named him Walter. I have a 125 gallon reef and currently have a midas blenny, 2 ocellaris clowns, and a cleaner shrimp. I figured the shrimp might be toast with a hawk of any type, but I was going to risk it. Do you guys think this new hawk is going to kill my other fish? It's been four days and everyone is still ok. No nipping or anything. He is pretty cool I admit, I've just been reading they can be aggressive. He eats really well too.

Keep feeding him really well. I have seen fish that you should never have in a community reef tank do great and "peaceful" fish be super aggressive. It is a roll of the dice. You never really know for certain how a fish will behave with his tank mates and even when you think you have it figured out, one addition or adjustment to the aquascape can throw the whole balance off. A satiate hawk will be "generally" less aggressive than a hungry one, IME.
