about 2 weeks ago, i bought a red montipora digi as well as a spit fire laptastrea. the first day, the monti extended its polyps, but since then, it hasnt. meanwhile the spitfire seems to be doing well. the only other SPS that i have in the tank, is a blue montipora that is doing phenomenal with polyps always extended, and extended quite well. all of my zoas are doing good, mushrooms are doing excellent as well, duncan fully extended, and my newly purchased dragon soul torch doing great as well. however, the only one that i am having an issue with is the red monti.
parameters.
lighting where it is sitting at 150-200
flow- i would say its moderate flow where its at. actually sits right next to the spitfire.
ammonia 0
nitrite-0
nitrate 7-10
phosphate-0-.02
calcium 420
alk 9.5
salinity 1.025
since parameters seem to be good, from the limited knowledge that i do have, i would suspect maybe it needs more light, or more flow. figured i would get some thoughts from anyone that has had more experience than myself.
