Can anyone id this algae, resembles bryopsis but it's red. Just as invasive it's growing in my friends seahorse tank, which houses soft corals and macro algae.

Any control methods available, does anything eat it? Control will be hampered by the limited species than can be included in a seahorse aquarium. Also if nutrients need to be reduced this may effect the less evasive macro algaes in the same tank?

Thanks

It's close to them, hard to tell only seen the photo. I recommended a bunch of snails a conch have to see if they graze it. My Tangs would look at it like a feast, but can't have Tangs with ponies.

Thanks for the ID.
