Red bubble algae?

Is this red bubble algae or a type of red caulerpa? Bottom of the rock.

Bubble algae usually forms in a tight knit pattern.
 
bubble algae can be in green and red. get Emerald Crabs or Red sea sailfin tang can eat bubble algae.

or you can remove the rock outside the tank and remove it manually, so it doesn't pop in the tank.

Do not remove bubbles manually inside the tank.
 
several red algal spp. look similar to that some of them are quite pretty. If it were me I would leave it and see what it does, but it might turn out to be a pest so it is a gamble.
 
I also thought it was some type of macro, but decided to just pull the rock and scrub that area. Thanks you guys.
