Red bug with long legs

Hey guys,

pulled this out of the base of my goniapora today, had to suck it out with a turkey baster. Any ideas on what this might be?

They may be harmless and even beneficial, however they can get out of control are spread all over. I would not mind a few, but hundreds get annoying and ugly! I normally like as much diversity as possible in my tanks, but I would have pulled it out as well. Actually my wrasses would keep them under control if not eliminate them.

they are only out of control if you over feed your system

Thank you all for your input! I’ve only seen one or two, this was the first one I was able to extract and photograph for ID.
