Anyone know how long they can live without a host? Theres alot of treatment threads and info but none on how long they live or life cycles. Has anyone read a study or have any info on them?

Being that no one has responded it leads my to believe that not much is really known about them. I did find a study heres the link.

In the link you can read they do haveva free swimming stage and there life can not exceed 3-5 days without a host.

I haven’t run into this problem yet. I have heard about them but don’t know much about the treatment to rid them.
