I was taking a peek at my acros that I have in my frag rack, and noticed I have red bugs, first time dealing with them. I'm about to deep all my acros in Revive, will this do the trick?

I'm also not too worried about this tank being infested since I'm working on my new tank, but I will be gone for a month and half as of next week. I just want to kill these things before they go in the new tank.

if you can get your hands on interceptor pills then you can dose the whole tank with it as long as you dont have shrimps.

Will my fish/starfish/cleanup crew be okay? I saw a video on this, after dosing, do I need to do a water change or? I wonder if I'll be able to treat the tank since I leave next week.

Don't try dipping for red bugs. I don't think that would be adequate. Call your vet and get some interceptor (there are tons of threads on how to dose it). It will kill shrimp and crabs, but everything else including fish and corals will be completely unaffected. It takes 12 hours if you do a proper dose and then a 10-20% water change. Turn off skimmer and UV sterilizer during treatment. It's super easy and it works well.

Thanks for the replies, I'll use Dr G's for future dips, I've been using revive and have dipped all frags. Which interceptor should I get? There seems to be too many and how do I know how much to dose?

Just spoke with my vet, she said she could supply me with a 5lb pill, would this be enough for a 20g tank? Guess I'll do a couple treatments everyday?
