I have a rose bulb nem which has been the centerpiece of my tank since inception. A few months ago I added a purple tip. The purple tip stayed under the rocks for the first six months rarely ever poking itself out. That is until I got the Radion X30 Pro lights and it suddenly came out of hiding and in full light. Unfortunately it put itself right next to the rose bulb and they have literally been fighting ever since. After about a week of constantly go after each other they separated for a few days only to go back to fighting. In the meantime, the purple tip has taken out numerous other corals (primarily zoas).
I have tried to remove one, or to move it to the other side of the tank, but they are attached to the structure of the aquascape above it. They won't detach. I have tried literally a dozen different ways and they both want to occupy the same area. Any suggestions?
