I recently acquired a pair of A. Chrysopterus that are commonly known as Blue Stripe clownfish. They are currently in QT but will be going in DT probably today.
The red Haddoni was purchased specifically for the blue stripe clowns. I thought about getting a Mertensii but they get way too big for my liking, even in captivity.

Greedy blue stripes wanted the larger gigantea anemone too. So they started to attack the true Percula pair inhabiting the gig. It was going to be a total annihilation. I took the true percs out to QT.
the blue stripes have now been hosted by all 4 anemone species in my tank. Haddoni, Gigantea, Malu and BTA. It’s like they are generalists and don’t care. From all the anemones in the tank only BTA and Haddoni are listed as their natural hosts in the wild. Their thirst for the gig was the most surprising.

Dang, you beat me to those blue stripes. They look awesome. They will host just about anything and will kill any other clowns in the tank.

Beautiful anemone and clowns. What did you end up doing with the true pecs since they been evicted from there gig? Lol

surprising..in the 80's and 90's blue stripes were tough shippers ..lost many back in the day ...
